You've probably been hustling at your office with all those paperwork that seem to cause your brain to burst anytime soon. You need a break! You can either eat chocolates or take that quickie to nature's paradise. It's not what you think it is! lol. I'm thinking about Mountain View Nature's Park.
If you are from Cebu City (Philippines), the resort surely will ring a bell. This resort has been a familiar place for groups or individuals who want to unwind yet do not wish to travel far. Mountain View Nature's Park has a 4-ft swimming pool for adults adjacent to the 2-ft pool for kids. Taking pictures would be an ideal thing to do there because of its breathtaking sights. Kids will also appreciate the Disney characters, animals, and other big statues but you have to prepare them for the walking. You will best enjoy the place if you stroll around.
The area is so big that it might take you hours to walk around.
The most astonishing view is not in the resort itself but the bird's eye-view of the city lights from dusk to dawn :) The view is just so romantic that you couldn't get away that spine-tingling sensation. Just perfect for a rendezvous! The breathe of fresh air will soothe your senses.

Getting there:
It will be ideal to have your own ride. You can also take the motorcycle ride (locally known as habal-habal) from JY Square Lahug (Cebu City) to Mt. View Nature's Park. Fare is at Php 50.
The road is a little risky because it's steep and it has blind curves. Just don't be too aggressive in driving.

In a nutshell:
1.It's a mountain resort so expect a cool temperature.
2. The bird's eye-view of the city is best enjoyed during the night.
3. Customer service is mediocre but I can just go with it. The staff are not so accommodating but you'll soon forget about it when you'll see that breathtaking view of the city lights.
4. The toilets near the pools are dirty. Good thing I didn't have to deal with them since rooms have their own toilets.
5. The pool is open from 9AM to 9 PM.
6. You can bring as much food as you'd wish to have inside the resort.
7. There is a bar/restaurant but it closes too early for overnight guests.
8. There's a function hall or probably more than one. Karaokes are also available.
9. Small huts/tents with tables and chairs are available to all guests.
10. Prepare for the walking if you don't have your own ride.
