The Virgin Island

Summer won't be complete without beach bummin' in Cebu and trust me, you'll never ran out of options here. Be sure to add Virgin Island in your bucket list. It's less than hour of boat ride from the main Bantayan Island. With incredible deals with friendly boatmen, you'd surely wouldn't hesitate to visit this immaculate paradise as its name suggests.

the lifeguard lounges. Pardon me. I just can't resist  this relaxing view
With less tourists, the beach seems spotless white. The ambiance is perfect for someone who'd like to escape from the city fuss and pollution - inner peace, that is.

As you disembark from the boat, there are really no fancy greetings from ushers or usherettes in traditional costumes. You simply had to walk to the front desk by yourself but the staff there are very genuine and friendly.

We're here
What to do:

Sightseeing is probably the best thing to do in there since the place has been carefully embellished with photo-perfect spots. Exploring around the island, you'd probable unleash that nature-lover in you  as you get close to nature, encounter its rawness, and breathe into its fresh zephyr.

swing your moods away haha

took me five minutes to take photos in different angles here LOL.
this is the perfect spot for afternoon drinks with a good read
the entree!
Snorkeling is another option if you want to spice up your swimming experience. Goggles and other gears could be rented from the resort.

a quick dip and ready to go!

Boating is also one of the activities you could do while staying in the Virgin Island.
but no one's boating really :D

Staycation. It's probably the least you would think of considering the overwhelming options you have while in Bantayan Island but with the ambiance in this resort and by looking at their cabanas,  you'd probably just want to roll under the sheets while reading a good book or enjoying an afternoon tea or perhaps your morning coffee. The cabanas are situated at the beachfront so you would clearly hear that relaxing sound of the waters rushing to the shore and the gentle breeze from the sea.

Cabana oh nah nah LOL.

wonderful summer day
Will I go back to Virgin Island? Definitely.  Maybe next time I'd stay in one of its Cabana for an overnight use. For now, I had to be contented with the stroll and a quick dip at its crystal clear waters. We didn't spend a lot in Virgin Island. Sightseeing only cost Php 100 and they got a cafe, too where you can order complete meals or just drinks. The staff are friendly and awesome. We talked to some of them especially those at the cafe and we had a short yet good laugh with them.

Virgin Island is just one my itineraries of the whole Bantayan Island escapade so go ahead check out my other blog for more details on this trip. Yey!

Till our next laag!
chillin' like a villain

XOXO,
