Sinulog 2017 - Videos and More

Cebu has become a tourist destination not just because of its impressive white sand beaches and resorts but also of its festivities. Sinulog, the major festival of Cebu City, is actually known all over the Philippines. Every third Sunday of January, tourists and devotees of Señor Santo Niño (The Child Jesus) flock at the heart of Cebu to celebrate in whatever forms and ways. 

The highlights of the event are the  Novena Masses for 9 days, Fluvial and Solemn Procession, Sinulog Grand Parade, Sinulog Dance Contests, Pyromusical shows, parties, and more parties. 

The Grand Parade serves as the culminating event of the entire celebration. Streets are crowded with spectators and contingents from the different parts of the country. 

This is the time when people go out and party on the streets through the popular paint and foam party or simply with the loudest music and beer. Although, the city government is a bit strict with the rules when it comes to street parties this year, some still had pushed through these activities. 

Different stuff are also offered anywhere you go. From the mouth-watering street food down to the weirdest souvenirs you can think of. People tend to get more creative every year.
