Perfect Photo Shoot Spots in Sirao

Sirao Garden is a man-made landscape with a rich flora. Generally, it has been referred to as a single place but actually, it has several gardens, probably with different owners. The entrance fees vary as well as the landscape designs and amenities.

The first part I went to was a bit small and its entrance fee was a little cheaper than the rest. I thought that was it but walking a few blocks away from the little flower farm, I found another garden which was quite bigger and has more attractive features.

The place became famous not just as local tourist spot but also as a photo shoot location. Definitely, a flower garden is a perfect spot for photo shoot sessions. Recently, most people though, consider the place a breather especially for those who are wanting to encounter nature just within the city so it gets a little crowded during weekends.

Although, some parts of the garden were not in full bloom, its fertile vegetation is still indisputable. The management explained that the garden usually blossoms during rainy season [June-December].

What I didn't expect to see was the golden sunset. It's great then to visit the place in the afternoon or during the golden hour [in photography] so you know what I mean - photo sesh! LOL

You might also want to drop by the Tieza Botanical Garden where you could find a breathtaking lake surrounded by a variety of blossoms. The place is really promising if this would be maintained and maybe renovated. It's just that recently, the accessibility of the place has been risky due to the landslides that affected the roads leading to Tieza but I believe the government is working on the rehabilitation of the site.

Aside from Tieza Botanical Garden, you may want to check out the famous camp site in Ayala Heights. This is indeed famous not just for camping activities but also for photo  shoots. I don't want to explain further but I'd show you why through the photos below.

Here's a bonus spot. It was actually the wedding organizers of my friend who told me about the bahay kubo (nipa hut) or as the coordinator fondly called it, Balay ni Mayang [adapted from a Cebuano song]. It's actually a dilapidated shanty so it's not open to guests anymore. You could find this cute spot along the road just a few meters from the campsite.
